Why Participants Travel With Us

Billed Straight to the Plan

We invoice the plan or the coordinator directly, so the participant is not handing over a card at the end of a trip.

Vehicles That Actually Fit

Ramp-equipped vans with proper restraints, plus sedans and wagons when a chair is not needed.

The Same Familiar Drivers

Regular bookings go to drivers who know the routine, which matters a great deal for some participants.

Standing Weekly Bookings

Day programs, therapy and social supports can be set up once rather than booked again every week.

Patience Built In

Appointments and programs run late. Our drivers wait rather than leaving somebody at a kerb.

One Number to Call

Coordinators and families reach a real person 24 hours a day, not a ticket queue.

How NDIS Transport Works

01

Tell Us the Need

The participant, the vehicle required, the regular times and who manages the plan.

02

We Set Up Billing

We arrange direct billing with the plan manager or coordinator and confirm the arrangement in writing.

03

Travel Begins

Bookings run to the agreed schedule, and the plan is invoiced rather than the participant.

Supports We Transport For

Day Programs

Regular runs to and from day programs, with the same drivers and the same pickup times each week.

Therapy and Appointments

Physio, speech, occupational therapy and medical visits, with waiting time built in where needed.

Community Access

Shopping, social outings and activities that keep participants connected beyond appointments.

Education and Work

Reliable transport to school, TAFE, training and supported employment.

NDIS Transport Across the Eastern Suburbs

Getting to a program or an appointment should be the easy part of the week. For many participants it is the hardest.

We provide NDIS transport across Mitcham, Box Hill, Ringwood, Doncaster and the wider east. Vehicles are matched to the participant rather than whatever happens to be free.

Drivers are accredited, background checked and trained to assist. Moreover, they understand that a rushed pickup helps nobody.

Billing the Plan Directly

Paying on the day and claiming it back later creates work for everyone.

We invoice the plan manager or support coordinator directly where the participant is eligible. Consequently, the participant travels without handling payment at all.

Each invoice itemises the trips, showing the date, route and fare. Therefore reconciling against a plan is straightforward. You can check current supports and funding rules through the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Supports We Transport For

The destinations vary, but the pattern is usually regular.

  • Day programs and community participation
  • Physiotherapy, speech and occupational therapy
  • Medical and specialist appointments
  • School, TAFE, training and supported employment
  • Shopping, social outings and family visits

Familiar Drivers and Standing Bookings

Routine matters. A new driver every week undoes a lot of the comfort a routine provides.

We allocate regular bookings to the same drivers wherever rostering allows. Likewise, recurring trips are set up once as a standing arrangement rather than booked again each week.

Accessible Vehicles and Assistance

Ramp-equipped vans with secure restraints are available on request, so participants travel in their own chair.

Support workers, family members and assistance animals travel at no extra charge. Our wheelchair accessible taxi page covers the vehicles in more detail.

When Things Run Late

Programs finish late and appointments overrun. That is normal, not an exception.

Our drivers wait. Above all, nobody is left standing outside a building because a session went twenty minutes over.

Where We Operate

Mitcham is our base, and we cover the east and beyond.

  • Mitcham, Nunawading, Blackburn and Forest Hill
  • Box Hill, Camberwell, Balwyn, Kew and Hawthorn
  • Ringwood, Croydon, Bayswater and Vermont South
  • Doncaster, Doncaster East and Templestowe
  • Glen Waverley, the Melbourne CBD and the wider east
